About Lorraine Ranalli

Having enjoyed a robust career in broadcasting, Lorraine Ranalli is best remembered for her long tenure with The Shadow Traffic Network, reporting on top-rated Philadelphia stations KYW and 1210 WPHT, and for making an occasional cameo on TV affiliates Fox 29, WPVI 6-ABC, and as one of the first voice-overs during the early years of TV traffic on KYW-3.

Lorraine’s real passion for radio, however, began with her passion for music.  Before radio, there was mobile disc jockeying. At just 16-years-old in the early ‘80s, Lorraine was one of the few females to hop on the mobile and club DJ scene. Years later, after establishing herself in broadcasting, Lorraine would finally have an opportunity to play music for audiences of Philadelphia’s Classic Rock, 102.9 WMGK and then for the ever popular B101.

Throughout her broadcast career, Lorraine moonlighted in Public Relations and Marketing. She freelanced as a copywriter, editor, voice talent, and event coordinator. In 2006 she made the leap from broadcasting to marketing.

Today, Lorraine is committed to creating effective Communication strategies for individuals and organizations. This role often calls her to appear as a radio or TV guest rather than host, and she thoroughly enjoys those opportunities.
